Speculative fiction includes the sub-genres of science fiction, fantasy, horror and others. Carma has been a fan of these genres since she can remember. Her favorite authors include Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov and Ursula LeGuin.
She not only writes within these genres, but about them, as well. She is the founder of The Genre Traveler, the travel resource for science fiction, fantasy and horror fans and the creator of YesterYear’s Future, a forth-coming multi-media project about the history and sociology of science fiction. She is also the Long Beach Speculative Fiction Examiner, covering science fiction, fantasy and horror in and around Long Beach, Calif.
