The H.E.A.R.T. of Business

What a crazy week ... and its only halfway through! I had a surprise fumigation over the weekend, locked myself out for five hours the following day and have been playing catch up ever since.

Why do I share this with you? To illustrate a point. Life will occasionally throw you a curve ball, an unexpected event or some other thing that will throw your perfectly laid plans out the window. So you should always have not only a back up plan, but a clear idea of your priorities. What things that you normally get done can either be left undone or rescheduled at the last minute? Then be prepared to be perfectly O.K. with things not getting done and/or rescheduled to a later date.

That's been my challenge this week. Being a typical Virgo, I like everything all nice and organized and in its proper place. To the untrained eye, my space may look disorganized, but I know where everything is! Also, having ADD, I often use schedules to help me organize the chaos, so when things go out of whack like they did over the weekend, it can rattle me a bit.

But its all good. No matter how unpleasant things may seem in the moment, they always work out for the best. I hope you're able to keep this in mind if (or should I say when?) things don't go according to your nicely thought out plans.
