Arthur D. Riggs, PhD, Coedits Monograph on Epigenetics

Epigenetics, the study of heritable processes not directly dependent on DNA base sequences, is an emerging discipline of Biology. Arther D. Riggs, PhD, director, Department of Biology, has coedited a recently published monograph on this topic, titled Epigenetic Mechanisms of Gene Regulation (1997, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press, $125).
